Michael Noblit, Senior Vice President of North America Operations, has been with Samsung Electronics America for 6 ½ years.  Michael has over 20 years of distribution and transportation experience.  His current responsibilities include consumer electronics logistics and operations planning for all Samsung US/Canada brand warehouses, inbound and outbound transportation, and 3PL-WMS/TMS management.  Additionally he is responsible for systems development, US/Canadian Customs and import planning, factory coordination for direct ship planning, and all logistics customer support operations.  His supply chain responsibilities include CPFR implementation and management, demand planning, and factory output planning.  His teams have shared awards in 2005-08 from Best Buy (Bravo Award), Circuit City SCM Awards, Lowes HA Vendor of the Year, VICS Award, and the AMR Research SCM Award.  Previously, Michael was with Sony Electronics – attached to the VAIO Computer Division, and responsible for Logistics Planning – and with Sony Logistics America as a facility controller.  He has a BS-Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA.  He is also a certified APICS-CPIM and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
