Sonic: CinemaNow-Enabled Devices Top 1 Million

Reporting a quarterly profit Feb. 4, Sonic Solutions said that there are more now than one million devices in the market running the company’s Roxio CinemaNow movie download software. The number is up from 300,000 at the end of Sonic’s fiscal second quarter on Sept. 30. The company has been projecting over 3 million CinemaNow-enabled devices by June and nearly 30 million by June 2011. By The Wall Street Journal
