Disc Graphics Names Creative Director, Opens Los Angeles Office
Specialty packaging services provider Disc Graphics (DISC) has appointed Shane Rossiter as its creative director, as the Hauppauge, NY-based company expands its presence on the West Coast with a new sales and creative office in Los Angeles.
An award-winning designer and U.S. patent holder, Rossiter will facilitate the expansion of DISC’s specialty packaging business for the entertainment and luxury product markets. He will be based in DISC’s Los Angeles office starting in July.
Rossiter’s body of work includes Grammy Award nominated packaging, as well as industry awards for projects such as the Alias Cube box set for Buena Vista Home Entertainment (PIA Premier Print Award) and a 2003 PPC Award for Excellence in Structural Design for the Boss-in-Motion product launch for Hugo Boss. In 2008, he was issued a U.S. patent for a media holding device for boxed disc packaging.
“By bringing Shane on board, we have ratcheted up our commitment and ability to provide top-notch concepts for our customers on the West Coast, not only at the entertainment studios but also at companies nationwide in other luxury markets,” said Richard Roth, DISC’s chief strategy officer, in a statement.
