Replicator EDC Expands with French Office
Entertainment Distribution Company (EDC) has opened a new office in France, as the supply chain services firm — which maintains CD and DVD replication operations in Germany — seeks to win French software publishers and others as new clients.
The French office is headed by Maxime Hueber, who hails from fellow entertainment distributor Arvato Digital Services (via Digital2Disc).
Sales Talks Terminated For Entertainment Distribution Company’s German Unit
EDCI Holdings, Inc. has announced that the potential purchaser of Entertainment Distribution Company, LLC’s German subsidiary has terminated further negotiations. As the supply chain services provider disclosed last month, the cooperation of its Universal Music Group customer was critical to any such transaction. The potential purchaser, it says, “has now advised EDCI that UMG conditioned such cooperation on demands for significant contractual modifications that it believes are ‘unbridgeable.’” Via PR Newswire
EDCI Names New Chief Of German Unit
EDCI Holdings, the holding company for European supply chain service provider Entertainment Distribution Company, appoints John Fitzgerald as COO and Managing Director of EDC’s German operating subsidiary. Fitzgerald most recently served as Managing Director of Cinram GmbH. Via PR Newswire
